Strolling

Eye candy on every corner,
Shoes in the window
Draw me in.
More beads and bangles
Dangle on a store wall.

A riot of colors on people
Humanity walking
Amidst a noontime shower.
Between the raindrops
Water beads appear on umbrellas.

Layer on layer appears
We are driven to distraction.
Even the windows
Frame scenes:
Reflections of people walking on rooftops.

Cars, busses, bikes
Speeding down the asphalt.
A New York City lunchtime
Gives me visions
From all around the globe.
